Privacy Policy: How Fix a Printer Handles Your Information
This policy explains what information fixaprinter.com (“Fix a Printer”, “we”) collects and how it is used. Last updated 13 October 2026.
The short version
- You can read every page without an account and without giving us any personal information.
- We do not run advertising trackers or sell personal information.
- If you use the contact form, we receive what you type into it and use it only to reply and improve the site.
Information we collect
Contact form. When you send a message, the form sends your name (optional), email address, phone number (optional), subject and message to the message system that serves this site and its sister sites. We use it only to read and answer your message. Do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive information in a message.
Server logs. Like most websites, our web server records basic technical data for each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used for security and to fix errors.
Search. The site search runs in your browser on a file of page titles and summaries; what you type is not sent to us.
Third-party services
Pages load web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and Google receives your IP address. Google’s privacy policy applies to that connection. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising networks or social media tracking pixels.
Cookies
The site does not set cookies for tracking or advertising. Your browser may store small preferences locally for the site to work.
How long we keep information
Contact messages are kept as long as needed to answer them and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference, then deleted. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted. Send your request through the contact page.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
